Spending over 27 years in EgyptAir, 10 years as Regional Manager for Egypt & North Africa in TravelPort and little over 2 years as Board Member for Misr Travel. I have managed to define myself in the field as a driven leader with definite exposure in strategic thinking, framework planning, transformations, targeting efficiency and versatility. This comes with the backing of: Increasing market share in the saturated-competitive GDS market from 18% to 27% in less than 7 years in Egypt, and from 26% to 29% in KSA market. Securing AACO agreement which effectively led to market share increase from 11% to 55% in less than 2 years.

Highly eloquent with all individuals, regardless of background, to ensure healthy communication channels fueling the work environment. Excellent at interacting with uncomplicated manner with individuals at all levels to ensure buy-in, attainment of goals and transformative structures for leading business. I pride myself as being highly effective in connecting and motivating teams to reach their fullest potential. Areas of expertise include, negotiation skills, financial scenario planning, company valuations and continuously drive improvement. Not only was I based in Egypt, I had spent about 8 years in Germany, 4 years in Turkey and Eastern Europe creating new opportunities for grander market exposure, revenue maximization and establishing a well-rounded team that still holds true till this day. Expanding EgyptAir to adopt Cargo, breaking into new markets worldwide, creating flight traffic at a time of rest all boils down to Change Leadership, drive and strategy.
