Aly Kamel Al-Ariny, born in Cairo in 1943, graduated as an electrical engineer in 1964 from Cairo University and married 1970, holds a M.Sc. in Electrical Power Systems by 1985 from Ain Shams University and a Ph.D. in Operations Research (OR) 1988 from Zagazig University. Ariny served the Egyptian Armed Forces (EAF) during the period from 1964 to 1988 and retired as a Brigadier General with three years' service upon his request. After that he worked in the consultancy business from 1988 to-date in Egypt and Arab Countries. Ariny has two sons both military men as well.

Ariny's Career Path Milestones and Areas of Expertise, 1964 to-date

(1) Early Military Service, 1964-1979: in the field of technical support for Antiaircraft Defense Forces (ADF) of the EAF.

(2) Late Military Service, 1980-1988, serving in EAF Research Centers and the Information Systems Department (ISD). This stage was in parallel to his postgraduate studies, OR Diploma to OR Ph. D.

(3) Since 1988 to-date, after completing his graduate studies, he practiced Consultation, Implementation and Training Assignments in the following areas, supported with fair theoretical knowledge:

Area # 1: The use of Enterprise Architecture (EA) and Process Mapping to MAP, ANALYSE, IMPROVE & PUBLISH the Enterprise Activities.

Area # 2: Lean and Supply Chain Services.

Area # 3: Management Systems: Quality, Environment, Safety and Occupational Health.

Area # 4: Information Systems, Data Bases, Systems Development Methodologies and Enterprise Recourse Planning (ERP).

Area # 5: General Accounting, Managerial Accounting and Financial Analysis,
